The Dolch-Sight Word List is a list compiled by E.W. Dolch in 1936. The
list contains 220 commonly used words that should be recognized by "sight”
for "fluent" reading. Dolch sight words provide an excellent base for
reading at an early age. They are often called sight words because some of them
can't be sounded out, and need to be learned by sight.
This list is traditionally divided by grades as Pre-K, KG, First Grade, Second Grade, and Third Grade. But many of the school schemes try to finish the list by end of first grade.
I mainly focus on Pre K and KG lists, which will be used for my children. There are 40 words for Pre-Kindergarten and 52 words for Kindergarten.
Here I created a list of DOLCH SIGHT WORD LISTS and Flashcards only for 3 LETTER SIGHT WORDS (Both Pre K and KG) with blue polka dot frame.
