PISTACHIO SHELLS - ANIMAL CRAFTS

These crafts have been done with pistachio shells. I know, we all love to eat pistachios, collect the shells every time, when you eat and  clean, rinse and store till your leisure time comes. FUN TIMES!

My daughter wanted to make some crafts for her class magazine. So we decided to use these shells as it’s always fun to make the things our own. I suggested her to create something new other than the flowers. LOOK at what she made! She was determined to do these alone, though I was helping her. I am happy as she completed by herself. WELL DONE Shamee!

What We Need:-

1. Colors (Water Colors, Sketch Pens, Crayons)
2. Color Papers
3. Pistachio Shells
4. Craft Glue
5. Scissor
5. Glitter (If you want)
 Steps:

v Paint pistachio shells the colors of your choice. According to what you like to make. Here she painted for animals.

v Let dry and add 2-3 additional coats so that the shell is completely covered.

v  Finally just assemble them ,the way you want and stick with craft glue

v Additional decorations can be done on your own way.

3 LETTER SIGHT WORDS

The Dolch-Sight Word List is a list compiled by E.W. Dolch in 1936. The list contains 220 commonly used words that should be recognized by "sight” for "fluent" reading. Dolch sight words provide an excellent base for reading at an early age. They are often called sight words because some of them can't be sounded out, and need to be learned by sight.

This list is traditionally divided by grades as Pre-K, KG, First Grade, Second Grade, and Third Grade. But many of the school schemes try to finish the list by end of first grade.

I mainly focus on Pre K and KG lists, which will be used for my children. There are 40 words for Pre-Kindergarten and 52 words for Kindergarten.

Here I created a list of DOLCH SIGHT WORD LISTS and Flashcards only for 3 LETTER SIGHT WORDS (Both Pre K and KG) with blue polka dot frame.

HOW WE GO HOME

The most important thing that a teacher has to worry about on the first day of school is how each child entrusted in his/her care will go home at the end of the first day.
After seeing many pictures on HOW WE GO HOME, I created my own chart and transportation cards.
By making, HOW WE GO HOME clip chart, an easy way to keep track of how your students go home and clip the student names with clothespins. I love it because I often have students change their mode of transportation throughout the year, I simply move their clothespin. Easy! These transportation cards also can be used as backpack tags.

You  can always  modify this the way you want, adding many more things.

HANDPRINT CRAFTS

This card can be sent to parents with a child’s handprint. Children’s handprint crafts are most popular among the parents and they always want to treasure the memories of the children.

Specially, First year of the school will be wonderful journey for children, as well as parents. Parents will start to create long lasting memories by collecting these as keepsakes.
